ChatGPT Ads

ChatGPT Ads connects with an API key from your own ChatGPT Ads account.

Get your key

1. Sign in to ads.openai.com (ChatGPT Ads Manager). Your ad account must be approved and have billing set up.
2. Open Settings and create an Advertiser API key. Copy it — it’s usually shown only once. (This is not an OpenAI platform API key.)
3. Optional, for sending leads back: in Conversions, create a pixel and copy its Pixel ID and Conversions API key.

If you don’t see API keys in Settings, your account may not have API access yet — contact OpenAI from Ads Manager or openai.com/advertisers.

Connect

Integrations → ChatGPT Ads → Connect, paste the key (and Pixel ID and Conversions API key) and click Connect. OutSurface checks the key immediately.

Notes

• Each key belongs to one ad account.
• ChatGPT ads need an image of at least 640×640.
• Conversions are only accepted for events in the last 7 days.
