What is OutSurface?
People increasingly ask AI assistants — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude — which product to buy, which clinic to visit or which agency to hire. OutSurface shows you how often those assistants mention your brand, who they recommend instead, and what to do about it. Then it helps you turn the attention you win into leads and customers.
The four things OutSurface does
1. Measures your AI visibility. You choose the questions (“prompts”) your customers ask. OutSurface asks every AI engine those prompts on a schedule, reads each answer, and scores whether you were mentioned, how prominently, in what tone and with which sources. See AI visibility.
2. Finds opportunities. It suggests new prompts worth tracking (Prompt discovery), spots topics where competitors are cited and you aren’t (Content gaps), and audits whether AI crawlers can read your site (AI readiness).
3. Creates and distributes content. Blog articles written in your voice, social posts with images, scheduling at the best times, repurposing, and publishing to WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile. See Demand generation.
4. Converts attention into revenue. A social inbox with AI replies, listening for conversations to join, a CRM with forms and automations, nurture sequences, lead magnets, sales outreach, and an AI ads manager for Meta, Google and ChatGPT Ads.
How it’s organised
| Concept | What it means |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Your account. It holds your plan, billing and team. |
| Company | A brand you track. Each company has its own prompts, content, leads and connections. A plan includes a number of company slots. |
| Teammates | People you invite to the workspace with a role (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer). |
Most screens show data for the company selected at the top of the sidebar. Switch companies there at any time.
Tip: Agencies usually create one workspace and add each client as a company.
