How long until I see results?
Your first scan runs during onboarding. Trends become meaningful after one to two weeks of crawls. Content you publish typically takes weeks to be picked up by engines.

Why do answers change from day to day?
AI engines generate answers fresh each time. Judge progress on trends, not single crawls — see How scoring works.

Which engines do you check?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. Your plan decides which are available.

Does OutSurface post anything without my approval?
Only what you allow: auto-replies for message types you set to Auto-reply, scheduled posts you approved, and ad changes if you turn on automatic mode within your guardrails. Community replies in Listening are never posted automatically.

Can I manage several brands?
Yes — add each as a company. Your plan sets how many; add extra slots at checkout.

Do you hold my ad spend?
No. You pay Meta, Google and OpenAI directly.

Why doesn’t the AI reply to an old comment?
It only acts on messages that arrived within the last 6 hours, so it never replies to old threads unexpectedly. Turning AI replies on processes open conversations from the last 7 days once.

Why can’t I reply to a Facebook or Instagram DM?
Meta only allows replies within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.

Can I get LinkedIn DMs in the inbox?
No — LinkedIn doesn’t offer messaging through its API. Company page comments do arrive.

What happens when my trial ends?
Tracking and generation pause until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted.

How do I delete my data?
