Security and privacy

How OutSurface protects your data and how to disconnect or delete it.

Your data

Each workspace’s data is separate. Teammates only see companies in workspaces they belong to, with access set by their role.

Connected accounts

OutSurface stores access tokens for the accounts you connect, encrypted, and uses them only for the features you use. Disconnect any account in Integrations.

Facebook and Instagram

  • Removing OutSurface in Facebook’s Settings → Apps and websites disconnects your Pages and Instagram immediately.
  • Requesting data deletion there removes the connected accounts and the posts, comments and messages synced through them. You’ll get a confirmation code and can check progress at ai.outsurface.com/data-deletion-status?code=….

Emails you send

Nurture and CRM emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed leads are never emailed by sequences again.

Ads and conversions

Email addresses and phone numbers sent to ad networks for conversion tracking are hashed (SHA-256) first.

Account security

Use a strong password, enable two-factor authentication if your workspace offers it, and remove teammates who no longer need access.
