Add your first company

After signing up, the onboarding wizard sets up your first company and runs a live scan so you can see results within minutes.

The five steps

1. Website — enter your site’s address (for example brightsmiledental.in). OutSurface reads it to understand what you do.
2. AI profile — review the brand name, industry, description and location it found. Edit anything that’s wrong; engines associate you with what’s written here.
3. Prompts — OutSurface suggests the questions your customers are likely to ask AI. Keep the good ones, remove the rest, and add your own. Aim for 5–15 to start.
4. Live scan — your prompts are sent to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. You’ll see each engine’s progress and, as answers arrive, whether you were mentioned.
5. Done — the company is created. Start your free trial (or pick a plan) to keep tracking automatically.

After onboarding

Starting a trial or buying a plan opens Guided setup, which configures the rest of the product for you.

Adding more companies

Go to Settings → Workspace and click Add company. The same wizard runs. If all your company slots are used, the button changes to Add a slot — see Plan and billing.
